I made a late start today, partly due to the heat. One of the main features of the Service level is the air conditioning equipment. I made a couple of Air Handling Units, based on the image at
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_handler#/media/File:Air_handling_unit.JPG. There's no reason why they'd be much differenmt I guess. I added some bling piping for effect. Have just laid down the ducts, but they need to resized and positioned correctly and connect with the four main ducts that go downstairs. My original idea was to have them on the floor, but slightly raised up might be better. But if I do that I need to add supports. In either case I shall probably have to add a couple of "bridges" over them to prevent accidents.
I added a battery and a generator/regulator room near the stair well. Seems the obvious place to put them. The small room at the back is a combined toilet / emergency shower. This is a hangover from the Alpha base, which uses two arrays of old truck batteries full with acid ready to injure someone. They've never got around to replacing them. Here however brand new kit has been installed, but the shower remains, just in case!
The Praxis section hasn't been done yet, but will be an even more simplified arrangement.
