This vSide (see http://www.vside.com/app/dashboard), and years back it was always populated with avatars, many of which would beg for in-world currency. vSide was mostly a a "let's dance and conspicuously consume" world, where it was impossible to have an AV that was other than thin and teenage. Hence my take on it at http://seconds.thecomicseries.com/comics/266/. Even so, I liked how the different places looked.
But now, it seems a deserted world. The music streams seem broken (listen to them and you'll hear what I mean) and as that's the case how can you dance to it? There must be users out there somewhere, but they're not in the streets or in the clubs. What you do find is the NPC bots, ready to sell you stuff just like they always have. Ho Hum.
