As you can see from the screenshots of my flat, it has an interesting view, but those are all translights and it's a big 3D box. The big thing about Twinity originally, is that the locations mirror real locations. My flat is located somewhere in "Berlin". In the past you could stroll around central Berlin, bits of Singapore, and somewhere in New York City. Nowadays there are remnants of that, including art galleries and museums, or whatever location or hangout has been devised (like a town in British Columbia).
This is for the most part, a "European game". The bulk of the users I've ever met have been French, German and Spanish. Living in Australia I seldom see anyone much anymore, and most places have "0 people" at them. Back in the day there was a lot more interesting stuff to see, and my avatar even has my face! But nowadays it seems like a "ghost town" to me, much like Vside (which also has a "have your own flat and party" model) .
